After completing his education, he worked professionally in media planning and software development, contributing to large scale agency projects. However, his desire to express creativity beyond the confines of corporate structures drew him toward cinema and animation. Over the years, he gained extensive experience in film production, content development, and direction focusing not only on technical execution but also on emotional storytelling, character development, and building meaningful connections with audiences.

Serhan Yorganci – Director & Founder of Digitoons

In the early 2020s, Yorgancı founded Digitoons, an independent animation studio designed to produce original content for a wide range of audiences. His goal wasn’t just to create animations. It was to craft stories that entertain, inspire, and resonate on multiple levels. His debut feature-length animation, Square Heads, was a clear reflection of this approach.

The film blends humor, emotion, and social observation, offering layered storytelling for both children and adults. Through exaggerated character designs, absurdist comedy, and a uniquely minimal visual style, Square Heads introduced a distinct voice in Turkish animation. The fluid pacing and careful attention to visual rhythm highlighted the director’s refined cinematic language.

Today, Serhan Yorganci continues to work as both director and creative producer across all Digitoons projects. What began as a childhood dream has grown into a vision driven production house where every frame is crafted with care, meaning, and a touch of playful spirit. At the core of each project lies a dedication to engaging audiences not just with visuals-but with ideas and emotions that linger beyond the screen.

For Yorgancı, cinema is not merely a way to tell stories. It is a way to build imaginative worlds. This philosophy drives the spirit of Digitoons, where each production is treated not just as a film, but as a bridge to a deeper creative connection with the audience.
